Lily Gruber-Schulz capped her amazing senior year off by being selected to the 2016 Polar League All- Conference First Team.
Gruber-Schulz averaged 15.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.1 blocks per game. She became the second Viking basketball player to go over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career. The guard/forward has committed to play for Lakehead University in Thunder Bay next year.
Viking junior center Emily Jacobsen also capped off her fine year with her selection to the Polar League All-Conference Second Team. Jacobsen averaged 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game for the Vikings.

Both girls will get to play in the 13th annual Polar League All-Star game that will be held March 21 at 6 p.m. in Esko.
