Two nonprofits receive grants from the IRRRB



The Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation Board recently awarded 19 cultural and tourism grants in northeastern Minnesota and two of those awards went to nonprofits located in Cook County.

North House Folk School, Grand Marais, was given $10,000 to add a Fish House classroom and dockside improvements.

The Grand Marais Art Colony, Grand Marais, was awarded $5,000 to launch a marketing campaign.

The IRRRB is a State of Minnesota development agency that is located in Eveleth. Its mission is to invest resources to foster vibrant growth and economic prosperity in northeastern Minnesota.
