It was another great weekend for Cook County Hockey as the Mite 2 team made its midseason appearance at the Silver Bay M2 Jamboree. In an eight-team event, the Cook County M2 team, coached by Mike Prom, Paul Sporn and Grandpa Steve DuChien, went 2-1 for the tournament.

After a tough loss against a strong Esko team on Saturday, the Mite 2s came back big on Sunday with a win against Two Harbors and another win against Hermantown.

The next event in the Cook County Hockey lineup will be a combined M1/M2 Jamboree at the Woodland/ Glen Avon rinks in Duluth on February 6 and 7.

The coaches, players and parents of Cook County Hockey would like to thank Gene’s Foods, Steve’s Sports and Grand Marais Motors for generously sponsoring the M2s at this event. TheLashinski family is a proud supporter of Cook County Hockey!
