Two county commissioner seats will be open for election



If you are thinking about running for county commissioner and live in District 2 or District 4, both of those seats will be up for election this fall.

The sign up to get on the ballot is May 19 through June 2 at 5 p.m.

The Cook County Board of Commissioners is made up of five members, and are elected to staggered four-year terms.

District 2 is now represented by Myron Bursheim and District 4 is represented by Heidi Doo-Kirk.

To determine which district you live in enter your address in the Polling Place Finder (pollfind er.sos. state.mn.us/). It also lists your city/township, school district, legislative, and judicial district, as well as tells you where your polling location is.
