The North Shore loved having Mountain Stage in Grand Marais. Tune in on Saturday, October 29 for the broadcast of the first show taped at North House Folk School. The second show in November will feature Nashville songwriter Jon Vezner (center), pictured here with Jeff Gilkenson and Kathy Mattea.
The campus of the North House Folk School was the place to be on the weekend of September 15-17, when the folk school hosted not only its Unplugged concert for the 10th year, but also Mountain Stage with Larry Groce. Tune in to WTIP Community Radio this upcoming weekend to hear the first Mountain Stage program recorded live at North House Folk School on the waterfront in Grand Marais!
Tune in at noon on Saturday, October 29 for the first show featuring John Gorka, Cheryl Wheeler, Michael Johnson, Lindsay Mac,Pat Donohue, and Mary Flower.
The second show will also be broadcast at noon on Saturday, November 5 and will feature Kathy Mattea, Jon Vezner, Tim O’Brien, Sally Barris, Cathie Ryan, and the Great Lake Swimmers.
