The Minnesota Forest Zone Trappers Association (MFZTA) has scheduled a membership meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Hibbing Memorial Building (east entrance) to discuss the 2011 agenda for the organization.
All current members have been sent a letter about this meeting.
For those who want to join and attend the meeting, there will be applications taken at the door. The cost to join is $20 for one year.
“Local trappers are encouraged to come and join the group — the sport of trapping needs your support,” said MFZTA president Ken Wainionpaa. “We need all trappers behind us in order to make sure trapping can continue in Minnesota. The more trappers we have as members, the stronger we will be.”
You can call Ray at (218) 263-3367, or Ken at (218) 865-4323 for more details. The MFZTA website is www.mfzta.vpweb.com
