Tom ‘Camper Tom’ Miller





 

 

Tom “Camper Tom” Miller, 56, passed away on Jan. 6, 2018, after fighting a determined battle to restore his health through several cerebral hemorrhages spanning over two years. He was most grateful to all who helped him in his struggle.

He is survived by his loving family including daughter Elsa (Shaun Donnelly), son Adam Miller (Katie), and grandchildren Lilliah, Alden, Madison and Jackson. He is also survived by brothers David, Michael, and Tim and their families, his mother Ann Lempke, and his extended family and friends.

Tom served in the United States Air Force, received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, and received his master’s degree from Montana State University.

Tom’s pleasures in life included good times with his family and friends, skippering boats on inland waters, celebrating music, and enjoying time with others in the great outdoors.

A memorial service will be held on Feb. 17, with socializing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and formalized services beginning at 11 a.m. The gathering will be held at Cross Roads Church, 5590 Babcock Trail, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077. The phone number for the church is (651) 414-9756.
