The leaves are starting to turn and it’s great hiking weather so that must mean the North House Folk School’s fall event is around the corner. Tickets are on sale now for Unplugged: The Northern Harvest on Friday and Saturday, September 24 -25.
Like most events at the folk school, Unplugged of course includes a hearty meal. On Friday, September 24, North House offers the Northern Harvest Traditional Fish Boil Dinner at 5:30 p.m. Thedinner will be followed by family and community dancing with Over the Waterfall.
Three internationally known singer-songwriters will be featured in the Unplugged IX Songwriters Performance on Saturday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. under the Big Top on the North House campus. They are Cheryl Wheeler, a Nashville-based songwriter known for her poetry and wit; Pat Alger, a nominee to the Songwriters Hall of Fame; and Jon Vezner, a Grammy award winner and founder of Unplugged.
