The North Shore Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans invites Cook County residents to its chapter meeting at 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 14 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Grand Marais. Theevening will begin with dinner in the fellowship hall, followed by a short chapter meeting and a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation will be given by Oz Twedt and Wayne Hensche, both of Grand Marais, who participated in the “Thrivent Builds Worldwide” trip from April 17 to 26 with a team of 13 Minnesotans.
There is no charge for the dinner but Thrivent is encouraging a “love offering” of cash or a non-perishable item for the local food shelf.
