Three seniors from the 5-4 Viking football team, Ben Rex, Kole Anderson and Ryan Christiansen made Polar League first team all-conference while Ray Dressely, Ryan Smith and Recko Helmerson-Skildum were voted second team all-conference.
Selections are made by opposing coaches who vote the players onto the all-conference teams.
Ryan Christiansen led the team in rushing and scoring, finishing with 14 touchdowns. Kole Anderson averaged 15.3 tackles per game, ending with 138 tackles on the year. Ben Rex finished with 50 tackles and three sacks.
Ryan Smith led the team with five sacks and was solid on the line both offensively and defensively. Despite missing some games due to injury Ray Dressely was second on the team in rushing and receiving, and also was one of the team’s top tacklers. Recko-Helmerson-Skildum finished with 46 tackles, two- and one-half sacks and caught five balls for 82 yards.
