Three finalists left to interview for Cook County School District Superintendent position

The search for a new superintendent for I.S.D.166 narrowed this past week when the school board invited three administrators from an original pool of eight to interview for the vacancy.

The three finalists are:

*Cecelia Dodge, WestEd, Project Director, St. Paul, Minnesota.

*Christopher Lindholm, Superintendent, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota.

*Samuel Zimmerman, Harbor City International School, Director of Special Education and Student Services, Duluth, Minnesota.

The second round of interviews will begin at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, May 19.

Over the last school year I.S.D. 166 Pre-K-12 principal Megan Myers stepped into the role of interim superintendent for Dr. William Crandall who was out for medical reasons.

Dr. Crandall served as the Superintendent for the Lake Superior School District since 2012. In 2016, Dr. Crandall took on the additional role of Superintendent for the Cook County School District under a work sharing agreement that is no longer being pursued.
