Third man arrested in murder of man found in Lake Superior



A 35-year-old Superior, Wisconsin man was the third person charged in the murder of a St. Paul man whose body was dismembered and dumped into Lake Superior in Grand Portage.

Jacob Colt Johnson was charged with intentional but not premeditated murder in Cook County district court on Monday, August 16.

Also charged for alleged involvement in the murder are Robert West of Duluth. West was charged with aiding an offender and interference with a dead body. Tommy Hintz of Duluth was charged as an accomplice for after the fact felony murder and concealing a dead body.

The victim, Richard Balismo, was believed to have been dumped into the lake around June 20.
