Things to do at Chik-Wauk Museum Nature Center



Chik-Wauk has some great activities planned.

On Tuesday, Aug. 7, there will be Kids’ Day programs. All children ages 18 and under have free admission to the museum. There will also be a Kids’ Day program on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

Also on Tuesday, August 7 there will be a United States Forest Service Northwood’s Talk from 2 -3 p.m. These talks will take place every Tuesday from 2-3 p.m. through Aug. 21.

All of the special presentations are family friendly.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Nature Center is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is adults $4 and $2 for children under 18. Children under 5 are admitted free.

Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located off the Gunflint Trail (Hwy. 12) – turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (County Road 81).
