The Wolfgang is Stanley King, Mary Sorlie, Steve Staruch, Laura Handler, Gail Olszewki and Paul Jacobson. Jacobson has been a long-time visitor to Cook County. He and his wife Diane have a seasonal home on Kemo Lake. Their ensemble offers chamber music from the time of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, on instruments of the type used during Mozart’s life.
The Wolfgang, a Twin Cities-based ensemble with a Cook County connection, will be performing instrumental music from the time of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a program entitled The Mannheim Connection at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. May 19, and at 3 p.m. May 20 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hovland. The program at Bethlehem Lutheran is a fundraiser for the organ fund.
For both programs a donation at the door is requested.
