In something almost out of the X-Files, Christine Day came before the Cook County Planning Commission on Nov. 14 after neighbors complained her summer weekend groups were making too much noise while they were in-training learning how to communicate with extraterrestrials they call the Pleiadians.
The property is located about one and one-half mile east of the Grand Marais city limits along Highway 61 and connects to Lake Superior. Day purchased the land, house and large commercial garage in 2013.
Last summer neighbors complained that the various groups attending the $450 three-day Gateway to the Galactic Community retreats made a lot of noise, especially when they were chanting. Said one neighbor who asked not to be identified, “I was awoken at 5:45 a.m. one Saturday by the wailing and chanting that was coming from the beach.”
According to Day’s website “The Pleiadians and the full Galactic community are playing a major role with planet earth at this time. This community brings their presence forward now to support mankind by giving you unique access through the Communication Portal to enable those of us who are awake and ready to interact and activate pre-agreement alliances.
“The Communication Portal has birthed and is now anchored in Grand Marais, MN, the first phase in the building of a powerful receiving station.
“This Portal has the ability to transmit outwards as well as into those individuals ready to receive for an accelerated process of reconnection through you and out to the entire universal community. Simultaneously you are realigned to your pure Source/ higher self-potential.”
Last summer as many as 50 people would gather to attend one of six three-day weekend retreats on Day’s property.
However, after neighbors brought their concerns to the planning commission, Day was asked to reduce the number of people who attend her Grand Marais academy to 25 and to keep the hours of activity from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., which she agreed to do. She also agreed to soundproof the garage where some of the activities take place.
“She was also given a one-year interim use permit on a trial basis,” said Land Services Director Tim Nelson, who attended the hearing.
The planning commission determined that Day was running a for-profit venture on her property that meets the requirements of a home business.
“After the year is up, the planning commission will review the interim permit to make sure she is in compliance with the new rules,” Nelson said.
As one of the petitioners stated, “They were very loud. There would be drones flying overhead filming them as they chanted and waved their crystals. They added onto the back of the garage, making it about one-third bigger. And this last spring they brought in lots of stone to build something like a small Stonehenge.”
On Nov. 27 the Cook County commissioners will review the planning commission’s recommendation to award an interim use permit to Day. Nelson said the planning commission dealt only with the complaints and voted unanimously to recommend the county board award Day an interim use permit.
Day meets the Pleiadians
Day first met the Pleiadians in 1994, as she explained in her website.
“I was out walking in nature. I turned a corner into a meadow and found myself staring at a huge spaceship about 20 meters away from me. Coming out of the ship was a group of Pleiadians. As they moved towards me, they were greeting me telepathically.
“I was immediately filled with an overwhelming sense of their love for me; a love that instantly awoke within me a deep remembrance of my Pleiadian heritage. I recognized my Pleiadian family, and I was brought into the memory of what I had pre-agreed to do on this earth plane in this lifetime.
“With startling clarity, I instantly remembered my mission here: I was to act as a Pleiadian Ambassador here on this earth plane. My role was to be a bridge between the Pleiadians and humans; to create a deeper understanding and awareness of the existence of the Pleiadians, so that we, as human beings, would have an opportunity to open up and receive the support that they can bring us at this time. Their support is essential for us to fulfill our mission during this powerful time of transition on our earth plane.
“One of my most important roles was to bring an understanding to the Pleiadians of how we need to process as human beings. This understanding was necessary for the Pleiadians, and would allow them to create a series of ‘light initiations’ that could work for us, and allow us to be able to receive these light initiations and self-birth, while bypassing the human ego. The Pleiadians activate these light energies in the form of light initiations so that we can birth ourselves through these initiating energies and be able to fully utilize them for our own awakening process.
“The Pleiadians are here on our earth plane to aid in the dimensional birthing of our planet and to assist those of us that are willing to awaken to a full knowledge and understanding of ourselves. They hold what they call ‘energetic platforms,’ which open up powerful opportunities for us to re-align back into our natural spiritual natures, which is to say, our Higher Self.
“It is with great joy that I have been able to channel through this sacred work from the Pleiadians. They have opened up an exciting opportunity for us to receive the very first program in a series of unique Courses that they wish to teach us. The first Course comprises a program, or series, of Light Initiations called Language of Light.”
While Day waxes poetically about the Pleiadians, she never describes what they look like.
Included on Day’s website is a direct message from the Pleiadians.
Here is some of it.
“Dear Ones, we greet you with love and appreciation for all that you are in this moment. This ‘Language of Light’ work has been brought forth at this time to enable those of you who feel called to do so to take giant steps toward your own enlightenment process. We have crafted energies that will support you in being able to move back into a place of re-alignment to the Self, and remembrance of your place within the Universal Consciousness.
“The time has come for many of you to reconnect to this aspect of your Self so that you can navigate your place within the Collective. As you make your way back towards Self, you undergo a transformation that enables you to hold an ‘energetic platform’— an energetic mirror, as it were—for others to meet that aspect of themselves.
In this manner, you enable many other humans to follow in your footsteps. This is part of your mission here, it is what you came here to do, and now is the time for this unfoldment…
We rejoice in your birthing and remembrance of yourself as spiritual beings, and we hold each one of you in your humanness as you take this next step; a journey that is designed not only to move you back into conscious remembrance but also to provide you with direct experience of your Spiritual essence. We honor you in your humanness and hold you with love as you embark on this important journey back towards Self.
This process takes you through a further initiation process to be able to hold a centered space that is required to build a Stargate. You will be given deep understandings of the internal processes the Stargate for you to be able to hold the full frequency layers required to activate a Stargate.
“The final phase of our mission of the ‘Awakening of the Dove’ will take place on the 27th April 2019. This has been a project that we were asked to embark upon by the Galactic community for the onset of the 4th phase of the ‘New Dawning’ energy for our planet.
