The Hub (formerly called the Cook County Senior Center) is closed until further notice. However, many of the center’s programs will exist in one form or another.
In a statement issued by Hub Director Bev Green, she stated, “We are taking steps to protect against the spread of COVID- 19. The Minnesota Department of Health is recommending, specifically “Social Distancing” or minimizing contact. We encourage community members and friends to remain home to help protect and slow the transmission of COVID-19.

Onsite Activities/Programs: All scheduled onsite programs/activities postponed until further notice.
Meals on Wheels – We will continue to deliver all Meals on Wheels. Sanitary procedures have been incorporated to ensure the safety of people receiving meals. Interested in Meals on Wheels program? Must be preregistered. Call 1-800-662- 5711 ext. 7323 for information.
Onsite Dining- Dining in services at this time is changed to “take out” only. This is open to the general public. Call The Hub/Senior Center (218-387-2660) by 9:30 a.m. on day service is desired and arrange for pickup. Lunch served Monday- Friday. Seniors over 60 yrs.: $4.00 Regular Price: $7.50
Arrowhead Transit Buses – Buses will operate as usual at this time.
Effective immediately, we won’t be collecting bus fares until the health situation changes. The purpose of this change is to limit contact between drivers and riders during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. Call 1-800-862-0175, option 8.
Health Care Loan Closet: The Hub can loan out a variety of healthcare items if needed. Typically on hand are: Walkers, Canes, Commodes, Shower Chairs, Wheelchairs, & other supplies. Call The Hub 387-2660 if you need an item.
