Central Boiler outdoor furnaces have joined the Fisherman’s Picnic Lumber Camp this year and things are heating up! Niel Atkinson, coordinator of Lumber Camp activities said, “The world’s largest and most successful outdoor boiler company will be on site to help you learn how to heat with renewable resources and save thousands of dollars on your heating bill.”

Atkinson invites everyone to come over to the Central Boiler semi truck to enjoy the display while learning about heating with renewable resources. “Central Boiler did not invent fire, but they did learn how to use it better,” said Atkinson enthusiastically.

Visitors can find this interactive display located on the west side of Grand Marais.

With all the recent talk about alternative energy, this display provides a great opportunity to learn from the company with 25 years of experience. Central Boiler started with one homemade boiler. Atkinson said, “Twenty-five years later it has grown into the boiler company known for the best product and warranties on the market and currently leading the industry in emission standards.”

Spectators will find the display interesting and informative. If you have ever thought about greater energy independence, this is display have the answers you are looking for.

Visitors to the Central Boiler display will receive signed posters and coloring books from log rolling and boom running world champion Jenny Atkinson. There will also be a drawing to win Jenny’s 2009 autographed world championship competition jersey.
