The Half-life of Marie Curie is a play about the friendship between Marie Curie and Hertha Ayrton when Marie escaped the onslaught of negative French press over an affair and recovered at Hertha’s summer home in England.
On Sunday, following the performance, the Grand Marais Playhouse will present Elsa Garry and Greta Roth with the “Excellence in Theater” Scholarship Award for their commitment to theater in our community throughout their scholastic career.
