Thanks to First Responders, EMTs and police

I would like to thank the following people and organizations for all their help after I was injured in a gas explosion on Friday, October 13, near Tofte.

First, thanks to our great neighbors and friends, Louise Trachta and Dave Munson, for their help in getting me to an ambulance and for their care and concern. Thank you to the EMTs and First Responders who took me to the hospital in Grand Marais. Thank you to Dr. Bruce Dahlman and ER nurse Sandy for their excellent care. And thanks to Ben Hallberg from the Sheriff ’s Department who took pictures of the damages at the scene.

There were other emergency help persons that came to my aid of whom I either can’t recall their names or never did get their names, and I would like to express my gratitude to them as well. Cook County is lucky to have such outstanding medical facilities and personnel in its midst.
