Kansas City, Missouri singer songwriter Teri Quinn will bring her banjo and unique singing style (she has a great voice) to the Wunderbar on December 2 to perform Indie Folk music.

New to touring, Teri has already experienced some highs and lows on the road. While performing during a swing down south she made many new friends and was also robbed of art and jewelry supplies along the way. A disconcerting blow to be sure, but for the most part her tour has been filled with joy and excitement.

Teri describers herself as “A northern girl with a southern heart living in the Midwest.”

Teri writes songs that are sweet yet savory. With her clawhammer banjo playing and old-time hollerin’, she mixes an old-fashioned sound with a modern grit. Drawing inspiration from moon phases and matters of the heart, her enchanting presence is sure to bewitch you.

Teri is also in a few Kansas City bands. She is a clarinetist in a seven piece Indie Rock group, Claire and the Crowded Stage and a banjo player and vocalist in a night-maracana band, Abandoned Bells.

Terri will take the stage at the Wunderbar at 8 p.m.
