Players came from all over the region for the Cook County Tennis Association round-robin doubles tournament on Sunday, Aug. 14. Sandra Bazalluk, Thunder Bay and Lisa Topp, Silver Bay, paired for an exciting match.
The Cook County public tennis courts in Grand Marais continue to be busy, drawing 35 tennis players from Cook County, Silver Bay, and Thunder Bay, ONT for a roundrobin tournament recently. The players were divided into eight teams and enjoyed participating in the doubles tournament, Sunday, Aug. 14.
The Cook County Tennis Association hosted this event, which finished with a delicious potluck supper when the playing was done.
