The Technology Open House continues this month at the Grand Marais Public Library on Wednesday, April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This is your opportunity to meet with local tech enthusiasts who will be available to talk to those who consider themselves “beginners or below” in knowledge of computers, broadband and electronic devices. If you feel you know nothing or next to nothing about computers or other technology tools, this is the place to ask your questions. Literally anything is on the table, from how to perform a task with your phone on up.
The session is free-form, allowing those with questions to have their needs addressed, and may be highly individualized depending on the need. Participants may bring their own devices, or use those owned by the library or others.
Whether your exposure to tech is limited or non-existent, you will find someone who is willing to spend some time with you to devote their attention to your need. The library would also like to extend a particular invitation to those who may have more advanced knowledge and who might want to assume the role of a tech enthusiast. Those who would volunteer to assist in any capacity are invited to contact the library directly prior to the event.
