As a concerned citizen of Cook County, I would like to know if we will be adequately reimbursed for the use of our highway department equipment for personal benefit of the Klegstad employee.
I contacted one of the county commissioners about this and received a response that the county will not be going after him for repayment to the taxpayers of this county for reasons beyond my comprehension.
That being said, I would like to have the use of one of the highway department’s graders and a loader available for my personal use as I would like to do some work on my driveway. Make sure that each piece of equipment is properly lubricated and properly maintained by the mechanic as well as fueled up before I receive them. I’ll need the equipment for about 16 hours. Let me know when ready before next week, call me at 387-2347. No cost to me of course!
