Tavane Rae Bergstrom of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2014 at the young age of 49.
A memorial visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Tavane was born June 3, 1964 in Grand Marais to Ronald Bergstrom and Gloria Johnson. She graduated from Cook County High School in 1982 and two years later married her high school sweetheart. During her marriage she was blessed with two children.
Tavane worked as a claims examiner for Prudential until she transitioned to Carlson Companies. She later moved to Sauk Centre where her most valued time was spent with her two daughters and many grandchildren.
Tavane enjoyed going to movies, making crafts, playing board games, cuddling, being silly and having fun. Her grandchildren were her everything. Tavane also enjoyed bowling on a league with her mom and vegging out in her recliner watching her favorite TV shows.
Survivors include her two daughters Ashley Magnuson (Chris Theiler) of Meire Grove, and Riley Smith (Jon Wolbeck) of Sauk Centre; six grandchildren Logan 9, Bridgette 7, Summer 6, Marley 5, Waylon 2, Kaylen 2; and two step-grandchildren Donte 13 and Sonja 7; sister Pam (Tony) Cleary and their daughter Samantha of Lebanon, Indiana; many step siblings; step father Dan Schmidt of Melrose; and father, Ronald (Joyce) Bergstrom of Hovland; and many loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria Schmidt and brother Ron “Chopper” Bergstrom.
