Sophomore Linden Sutton earned second team All- Conference honors for her fine play this season, while stellar backcourt player Sarah Deschampe, a senior, earned Polar League honorable mention.
Sutton ended the year with 151 kills and 34 solo blocks. Deschampe finished with 223 digs, said Head Coach Pam Taylor. Sarah also finished with 221 serve receptions. “She received a lot of the serves for us this year,” Taylor said.
“Neither of them had a particularly high serving percentage. …Somewhere in the high 80s, but both had hard, effective serves,” Taylor said.
The Vikings ended their season with a third-round loss in the Section 7A quarterfinals, and finished the season with a 14-10 record.
