My aunt is Rosie Johnson. I am sure most everyone in Grand Marais knows her story so I won’t repeat it here except to say she is staying strong and recovering well from her traumatic brain injury.
I have been keeping up on Rosie’s amazing progress—thanks to my uncle Bruce’s updates —on www.caringbridge.org. It was there I learned that Grand Marais residents had rallied around my aunt and uncle and were wearing “Team Rosie” pins.
I can’t tell you how much this means to me and my family. I was deeply touched when I found out my aunt has so much support and so many people who are cheering her on back home.
It makes me feel confident that when she gets out of the hospital in Duluth and makes it back to Grand Marais she will be in good hands.
Thank you so much for joining Rosie’s team. It means the world to me and I’m sure Rosie and Bruce would tell you all the same.
