Schroeder artist Bruce Palmer has a summertime exhibit of his painting in the Fireplace Room of the Cross River Heritage Center in Schroeder. His work will be on display until July 4.
Palmer began serious pursuit of painting in 1958 at the St. Paul Art Center on Summit Avenue. His teachers have included Paul Kramer, Clement Haulpers, Mac LeSuer and Bernie Quick. He joined the Kramer Art Studios
Group in 1960, which evolved into the Old Town Artists Cooperative Studio.
His paintings have been shown in a wide variety of juried shows and exhibitions.
Summer hours at the center are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. TheCross River Heritage Center is closed on Mondays.
