Sugarloaf Cove presents: Camping under a blanket of snow




From Curtain Falls to Warrior Hill to petroglyphs on Agnes and pictographs on MacKenzie, see what the Border Country and Lake Superior look like during the coldest months during Camping Under a Blanket of Snow at 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at Sugarloaf Cove.

Experience the BWCA, Quetico and the North Shore during the coldest parts of the year with outdoor adventurer Jon Farchmin. Utilizing traditional methods of travel, Jon spent a good part of three winters exploring these areas. Hear the stories and see the stunning images of places often visited by canoe but seldom seen under a blanket of snow. Jon’s passion for winter and the outdoors takes him to places seldom seen by others. Jon will also share how he got involved with winter camping and give tips on getting started.

Sugarloaf Cove is located lakeside off Highway 61 at mile 73.3.
