Hanna Zakrzewski awarded scholarship
Hanna Zakrzewski, Lutsen, was Awarded a Henry C. and Susan Martinsen Scholarship to attend Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC).
WITC will become Northwood Technical College in August 2021. A nationally top-ranked college and a designated 2020- 21 Military Friendly School, WITC serves the educational and career needs of more than 15,000 residents of Northwestern Wisconsin each year. With multiple campuses, WITC offers career-focused associate degree programs, technical diplomas, short-term certificates, customized business training, and a wide array of courses for personal or career enrichment.
Molly Lafreniere named to SNHU President’s List
Molly Lafreniere of Grand Marais has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2021 President’s List. The winter term runs from January to May.
Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 or more credits.
Kestrel Pollock on Hamline University Dean’s List – Spring 2021
Kestrel Pollock, of Grand Marais, was named to the Hamline University College of Liberal Arts Dean’s List in Spring 2021.
Pollock was among 640 students named to the Dean’s List this semester.
To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 16 credit hours. In the Spring 2021 term, students were required to have completed a minimum of 12 credits graded on the standard letter-grade scale for the term.
Connor Somnis on Hamline University Dean’s List – Spring 2021
Connor Somnis, Grand Marais, was named to the Hamline University School of Business Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 term.
Somnis was among 117 students to make the Dean’s List this semester.
To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 16 credit hours. In the Spring 2021 term, students were required to have completed a minimum of 12 credits graded on the standard letter-grade scale for the term.
