Alyssa Martinson graduates from Bethel University
Alyssa Martinson graduated from Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota, following the fall 2021 semester. Martinson earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations; Spanish. She is the daughter of Bruce and Sheryl Martinson from Schroeder, Minnesota.

Six local students make the Gustavus Adolphus College 2021 Fall Semester Dean’s List
The Fall Semester Dean’s List at Gustavus Adolphus College has been released. The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in December 2021.
The following students from Cook County were named to the Dean’s List at Gustavus Adolphus College: Ellen Callender, Lucia Callender, Emma Gesch, Elsa Lunde, Amelia Roth and Aurora Schelmeske.
