Cook County Schools students are displaying a wide variety of artwork at Johnson Heritage Post through January 2, 2011. Students, teachers, and community members enjoyed the opening of the show Friday, November 19, 2010. Annika Stone and Lauren Murray take in some of the artwork created in Art Teacher Mary MacDonald’s classroom.
There was also edible art at the opening reception. Culinary arts students presented exquisite desserts. Here, culinary arts students Stein Jacobsen and Sarah Larsen greet guests.
