During college, Pete captained the Lake Superior State University hockey team that won the Division 1 national championship in 1988. He played professional hockey for the Detroit Red Wings before returning to work for the Duluth police force.
Stauber has voiced support for the recent tax cuts and jobs act passed by the Trump administration. In a press release Stauber was quoted, “As your congressman, I will support the ongoing efforts to reform our tax code and ensure that more of your hard-earned money stays with you and your family.”
Come out on April 9 to find out what Pete has to say about various subjects including his views on mining, national health care, the potential for regional job growth, affordable housing, logging, and the recent announcement by the White House to impose tariffs on countries who sell below cost steel (dump steel) into the American economy.
