Rep. Pete Stauber recently posted “Justice for all” in a letter to his constituents. But not if you’re female, apparently, thanks to him and his ilk, it’s about to be open season for women or girls who get or attempt to get an abortion. Already in some states there is a “bounty” paid to the hunter who turns her in. Apparently, she’s gotten pregnant all by herself; her partner is without responsibility and might even apply for a bounty! As for the child…. forgotten when born. Stauber is indeed part of this. Many running for office don’t want to make their position known. But for women (and girls) this is just a start. No contraception is expected to be next. Maybe then we move on to a few other “undesirable” actions. These people don’t much like gays either.
My point is careful who you vote for, KNOW their positions. Make sure they’re compatible with your interests and needs. We know Stauber’s position on the BWCA. And mining; full speed ahead! We on the North Shore are without representation as to our needs.
