Now that we have made it through the end of the Mayan calendar without a world-ending event, we send out our wish that everyone enjoyed their holiday gatherings with friends and loved ones.

Holiday merriment

On December 7, we enjoyed Gladys Anderson’s birthday celebration at the Senior Center. On December 10, a group traveled to Duluth for lunch at the China Star and shopping at Wal-Mart. Everyone enjoyed finding great deals and enjoyed each other’s company.

On Thursday, December 20 we enjoyed a special Beast/ Feast holiday meal. Linda Johnson provided the ribs for our feast. A special thanks to Linda!

We then played a fun gift exchange game with everyone swapping presents each time they rolled doubles with the dice. It was a very fast paced fun time! We followed up with holiday bingo with some fun and special prizes along with cookies and cider.
