On the chance there will be high school athletic events this spring, the I.S.D. 166 school board approved the following people to coach spring sports at CCHS for 2020.
April Washlstrom will once again head up the boys and girls track and field teams. Her volunteer assistant coaches are Jay Arrowsmith-Decoux, Jeanne Monson and Jenn Schueler.
Back again to lead the CCHS girls’ fast-pitch softball team is Jessie Anderson. Marlene Wester and Kaylie Hielscher, who is a volunteer assistant coach, will assist her.
Long time boys’ baseball Coach Arleigh Jorgenson is back again and excited to see his young team play. Andy Feddema and Nick Hingos will assist Arleigh, with volunteer coaches Jorge Gomez and Tim Miller rounding out the coaching squad.
How the COVID-19 virus affects the sports schedules is unknown at this time.
