Bethlehem Lutheran Church is inviting all children in third through fifth grade to experience Joseph’s journey from prison to palace during Vacation Bible School the week of June 21 – 25 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Students become part of history as they see, hear, touch and taste what it was like to live in Pharaoh’s empire. They will explore authentic marketplace shops, visit Joseph (who’s in Pharaoh’s prison… then gets promoted to Pharaoh’s palace), take part in Egyptian games and taste the fresh bread of Egypt. How were the pyramids built? What did an embalmer do for Egyptians? Those questions are answered too!
All this will be part of every session as students discover more about how God was with Joseph in good times and bad. VBS organizers invited you to “Join us for a great week!”
Registration forms can be found at the church in the narthex. For more information, contact the office at 387- 2227. A donation of $20 will be gratefully accepted.
