A hint of cool fall weather had someone thinking of snow.
Cook County Sheriff Pat Eliasen reported that a snowmobile was taken from Kirk’s Run Ski Trail in the Bally Creek area of the county. The snowmobile was discovered missing on July 10, and reported to the Sheriff ’s Office.
The theft occurred sometime during the past two weeks between June 26 and July 10. The missing snowmobile is described as a 1998 model Arctic Cat – Bearcat, and green and black in color.
Anyone with information on the stolen snowmobile is asked to contact the Cook County Sheriff ’s Office at 218-387-3030.
