The Cook County Historical Society is offering another interesting Small Talk. Patience “Pat” Andersen Faulkner, daughter of Eleanor Waha, will present a Small Talk at the Cook County Historical Society Museum on Saturday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. Faulkner has worked extensively to help people affected by the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska, where she lives.
Faulkner also recently visited the Gulf of Mexico to aid communities as they struggle with the effects of the 2010 BP oil spill.
Carrie McHugh of the Historical Society invites everyone to this “impromptu” Small Talk. She said, “Join us as Pat shares her experiences and informs us on the work she is doing to ensure citizen input in the creation of new rules and regulations.”
The Small Talk is free and open to the public at the museum building at 8 South Broadway, Grand Marais.
