Skeeters win softball tournament

The 2010 Grand Marais Lions Club Softball Tournament enjoyed a great weekend of weather to go along with some great softball games. The tournament included 37 games between 20 teams from Thunder Bay, Minneapolis, Duluth, Silver Bay and Grand Marais.

The Lions Club thanks all the teams that participated this year, the Grand Marais Parks Department and the umpiring crew for making this year’s event a success. Thanks also to Cook County High School Baseball for their refreshment stands at the Tourist Park.
