Beyond Birch Bark.
Simula will detail his skills and knowledge of building a 12’ Ojibwe hunting canoe and how he goes about harvesting the materials to build such a craft. One of the highlights of his presentation will be his instruction on how to use black ash for canoe thwarts and pegs.
