No Joe Klecker this year. The 2018 Tofte Trek winner and 2020 Olympian is coming off a 2023 12:54 indoor 5K and an outdoor 27:07 10K and is instead racing against the best runners in the world in Europe on the Diamond League. Oh well, anything to get out of running the rugged Tofte Trek 10K!
The annual July 4 Tofte Trek 10K and kids’ races will once again be held at the Birch Grove Community Center in Tofte.
There will be same day registration starting at 7:45 a.m.
At 9 a.m. the always competitive 10K race walk starts and is followed at 9:05 a.m. by the kids sprint races for 4–12-year old’s. The kids one-mile race begins at 9:20 a.m. and then at 9:30 a.m. the gun goes off to start the adventurous 10k.
T-shirts will be available to the first 200 who registered for the 10k.
