Cook County Higher Ed will be offering a basic math course for adults and high school students who would like to review and strengthen their math skills. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, percentages, estimation, simple geometry, and measurement problems will be covered.
The class will meet six Thursday evenings from 6 – 8 p.m. at the North Shore Campus (300 W. 3rd St.) in Grand Marais.
Course fee is $45 and includes all materials.
Jean Marie Modl will be the instructor. She has three science degrees (A.S., B.S., M.S.) and has always enjoyed math. “We will cover a lot of material and have some fun too,” she said.
