Shoplifting and its prevention will be the topic of the next Business Networking Luncheon Feb. 19 at the Higher Ed campus in Grand Marais.
A panel of two or three local business owners will hold group discussion about shoplifting and employee theft, including sharing of best practices, suggestions, concerns, and brainstorming for better communitywide protection.
The presentation begins at 11:30 a.m. and includes a catered lunch by Lutsen Resort of soup, sandwich and side. There is a $15 fee.
The luncheons are made possible thanks to the generous support of the Cook County Chamber of Commerce, Sivertson Gallery, Lake Superior Trading Post and the Grand Marais State Bank. Call (218) 387-3411 to register.
