Cook County Sheriff Mark Falk has confirmed a report that Dan Schlienz,42, the Grand Marais man taken into custody after the courthouse shooting on Thursday, Dec. 15 has died. The cause of death has not been released.
Schleinz was incarcerated at the St. Louis County jail. Falk said Cook and St. Louis County are working on a press release to provide details as soon as possible.
