Sherrie Lynn Swanson, 58, of Duluth, Minnesota, died Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. She was born June 27, 1961, in San Diego, California, to Robert and Arline.
The world has lost a shining light. Sherrie had a zest for life only found in a few people. Her capacity to enjoy life and appreciate the little things in life and to love those she found near and dear, her positive attitude, her drive, her ability to overcome great obstacles in life, has inspired so many of us near and far. She was an incredible human being and will be missed by all, but never forgotten.
Sherrie is survived by fiancé, Michael Coon, her children Will and Anna (and Damian), step-father and mother Carroll “Keck” and Arline, brothers and sisters Cindy, Nicole, Mary, Pam, Dawn, Drew, Grant and Joel.
Sherrie was preceded in death by her father, Robert.
A celebration of Sherrie’s life will be held February 15, 2020, at the DECC, in the Harborside Room at noon. Sherrie loved the color purple, so we ask that you wear an item that is purple.
