The first two innings told the tale of this game as Two Harbors scored three in the first and three in the second while holding the Vikings scoreless.
Down 6-0, the Vikings scored one in the third and one in the fourth, but Two Harbors punched back with two in the fourth and went on to win 8-2.

Jacob Carpenter started on the mound and pitched one inning. Jacob gave up one hit, five runs, three walks, and had three strikeouts. Jake Stadler pitched 2.1 innings. He allowed three runs, two hits, walked two, and collected three strikeouts. Amos Falter finished the last 2.2 innings. Amos didn’t give up any runs, allowing one hit while striking out six.
Head Coach Arleigh Jorgenson kept all pitchers in both games to less than 60 pitches to prepare for the playoff, which began on Saturday, July 15, in Ely.
