The holidays are a special time to give thanks to our fortune of family and friends. We here at the Senior Center are very fortunate to have such a large, wonderful special extended family of friends.

Generous friends

Our local Senior Center provides services to the entire county. Whether you are a senior or not. Whether you are a local resident, summer resident or a visitor. Our Senior Center provides services to well over 1,000 individuals every year.

Our annual giving campaign is upon us. The funds that are donated through this campaign will be used to help support our senior programs, activities, support services and senior trips. Each donor has the opportunity to choose how his or her donation is applied. Please remember that each of your donations is fully tax deductible.

Please watch your mailbox in December for our flyer. We would like to thank everyone for considering continuing to help support our local Senior Center.

Christmas with friends

The Senior Center Holiday Party will be Wednesday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m.

The Holiday Party Meal is chicken kiev, rice pilaf, parsley carrots, cinnamon applesauce, and sweet potato pie.

At 12:30 p.m. play the Holiday Musical Trees Game and at 1 p.m. play the gift exchange game. To participate, please bring a wrapped gift valued at less than $10. We will pass out the gifts, open them, and then roll the dice for five minutes. Every time you roll doubles you may swap your gift for someone else’s. It’s a hoot! Come join the fun!

At 1:45 p.m. enjoy an ice cream social provided by the Senior Center.
