North Shore Winery (NSW) is excited to announce its second Europeanstyle Christmas Market, taking place on Friday, November 29, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Winery in Lutsen, Minn.
North Shore Winery’s second Christmas Market turns the Winery into the North “Pole” Winery loaded with art, gifts, food, and wines to enjoy or to give as holiday gifts for friends and family. The market will sell holiday decorations, art, gifts, soaps, wreaths, maple syrup, holiday food items, and warm winter beverages. The fires will be blazing, and heaters are warming so everyone can enjoy this fun indoor and outdoor experience.
Vendors displaying their wares are listed below. We are fortunate to have five new vendors this year, expanding our market’s offering.
New: Wreaths by Ann Honer of Lutsen – This is Ann’s first year at the market, bravely setting up shop outdoors. She will have a variety of wreaths and boughs, perfect for your holiday decorating needs.
New: Jim Cordes Holiday Folk Art of Lutsen – Jim’s wonderful unique holiday folk art pieces make great gifts, and the ornaments are perfect for your holiday tree.
New: KFox Art Studio of Lutsen – Check out Kathy Weinberg’s fine art paintings of Lake Superior along with prints and cards.
New: Otlak Felt Studio of Grand Marais – Mary Reichert designs gorgeous felt creations including table runners, rugs, coasters, baskets, handbags, vests, and felt scarves, along with silk scarves.
New: TF Goodness of Grand Marais – Kim Knutson joins the market this year with her organic lotion bars, body balms, and butters using Cook County herbs and flowers.
Kari Vick, Ink of Lutsen – Kari Vick, will offer original art, prints, cards, mugs, and magnets. She will also be signing the books she has illustrated, including the latest, “Lead
On!” written by author Krista
Betcher.
Mueller Studio of Lutsen – Greg
Mueller will offer his voyage vessel cast bronze sculptures mounted on Lake Superior stone along with a selection of custom-made furniture. Check out Greg’s work outside while sipping a warm mulled wine!
Wild Country Maple Syrup of Lutsen – Michael and Carrie Baker will offer their locally produced maple syrup and maple syrup based products featuring bourbon barrel aged maple syrup.
Jeweler of the North Shore of Lutsen – Steve Hahn creates custom jewelry for every occasion. Items on display for purchase and special order include inspirations reflecting the beauty of the North Shore, creating the perfect holiday gift for your loved one.
Heather and Kathy West of Lutsen – Heather and Kathy’s sense of style will be on display with a variety of holiday gift ideas and their mother’s adorable, hand-knitted wine toppers and mittens!
The Big Lake of Grand Marais – Abby Tofte’s store in Grand Marais will have its Lutsen pop up open for the day, bringing you an assortment of unusual, creative art gifts.
Art by Anna Hess of Lutsen – Anna Hess is a winery favorite – her bear prints are hugely popular, and she designed our Moose Joose cider label. Anna will offer a variety of holiday gifts, including art, cards, and silk scarves, all with her artistic flair!
Border Designs of Lutsen – Dave Woerhide is the artist behind the woodwork used throughout the Winery and the creator of our agate backsplash, a visitor favorite. Dave will bring agate and wood gift ideas for the holiday season.
Art by Jillian Kratt – Jillian’s unique abstract designs displayed in our tasting room are created using multiple pouring techniques on canvas available in lots of colors and sizes!
North Shore Winery – The Winery will offer mulled wine in a Christmas Market souvenir cup, wine and cider gift packages, new meat and cheese options, along with Gunflint Mercantile caramels, chocolate turtles and Christmas bark.
The winery and tasting room, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minn., is open from Noon to 7 p.m. The tasting room offers a flight of tastings for a fee along with carafe, glass, and bottle purchases of wine and hard cider. The tasting room offers a selection of crafted cheeses and cured meats to enjoy while visiting the Winery.

North Shore Winery, established in 2013, was founded by Chuck and Kim Corliss, and in 2017, Jeremy and Mary Hanson became partners in the business. The Winery offers red, white, and rose wines for tasting and purchase. Under the brand, Sawtooth Mountain Cider House, the hard ciders offered are created with a local flair. The Winery, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minn., has regular business hours from Noon to 7 p.m. to experience a taste of Lutsen and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
