Second annual Disabled American Veterans golf outing set for August 28

Gunflint Hills Golf Course will once again be the site of the second annual Cook County Disabled American Veterans (DAV) golf outing. The Best Ball tournament will be held August 28. Check in from 9-10 a.m. A shotgun start begins at 10 a.m. The 18-hole, four-person scramble will include door prizes, pin prizes and dinner, which will follow at the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino. DAV Chapter 18 will be the non-profit host of the tournament. All profits will go to the Cook County Veterans support of the Cook County Veterans Affairs and/or other local veteran organizations. Cost is $75 per person, which includes golf, cart, and dinner. The tournament will be played over 18 holes. Cost per person to enter is $75. That includes your golf cart and dinner.
