Seasonal rest areas to begin closing for 2021

Seasonal rest areas in northeastern Minnesota will begin closing soon as the 2021 seasons change. They will reopen in spring 2022. The regional rest areas are scheduled to close on the following dates:

• McGregor – Monday, September 20

• Big Sandy – Monday, September 20

• Cross River – Monday, October 25

• Cut Face Creek – Monday, October 25

• Independence – Monday, October 25
